date of invoice is in july but we have received goods in august this itc will receive in july or not?
likewise, service also completed in july, date of invoice in july but invoice booked in our books in august this itc will receive in july or not?

You book the bill in the months of July because supplier issue the invoice in the month of July, if not booked then mismatched of the input credit

if goods are received are received in August then you can claim credit only in August.
matter of gst credit mismatch:; you can mark the invoice pending while filing gstr-2 for july and later on accept the same in August.
the same you can do with services also.

Yes... I agreed to Mr Pankaj Singla...
If you received goods on August then you can claim ITC on August month return...
Your supplier show the bill in his July return and it reflects in your GSTR 2A... In case you file GSTR 2 you ll be pending the invoices and use August return...
