Can I make an invoice of gold jewellery say as 10 Grms rate 3000 total rs 30000 and rs 1000 making total Value 31000 and charge 3% on total rs 31000 ie rs 930 as gst
Or I have to make different invoice for gold and making cost

single invoice can be issued, charged gst rate accordingly.

It is a case of composite supply where rate of tax will depend on supply of predominant product or supply. In this case gold is supplied as predominant item and making charges is naturally bundled. So gst rate for making charges will be the rate of gold. This is true in case of gold jewellery sold. However reverse will be the case in case of repairing of jewellery where services will be predominant and even in repair work even some sort of gold is supplied the rate of tax for making charges will be applied

poltu ghosh ji i want know if i have use partly customer gold & partly our gold..in invoice i have charge our gold rs. then making charge in same invoice.so i have which %Charge gst 3/5/18%
