Gst invoice

I have to sell some furniture and fittings to an entity. they require the gst invoice in advance for the purpose of collecting fund from authorities. However no actual movement of goods takes place without making the fund available to us.

is there any legal restriction doing so? (i.e invoicing in advance)

no u cannot raise invoice in advance
As per my view
1) As per Sec 31(1) of CGST Act invoice can be issued on or before removal of goods
2) But to claim ITC by receiver, Goods should be delivered
Hence invoice can be raised
@ Jouhar Ali.,

No...
We can't issued Invoice without supply of Goods...

As per Your query.,
You can give "PROFORMA INVOICE" for the requirement of the Buyer... No need to issued Tax Invoice...
There is no performa invoice in GST Law
Yes... But, It's not carrying any supplies. It's just a Estimate and include tax values...
