Yes single invoice can be raised
no. has to be separate invoice for supply of service and goods. In tally if u post the transaction then you have select the type of transaction whether goods or service. better to issue separate invoice.

Pls refer to invoicing rules where it has been mentioned that in case of supply of goods you have to issue invoice in three copies and case of supply of services you have to issue two copy of invoice. It is better to issue separate invoice for detailed analysis and accounting of goods and services.
As per rule it is mentioned that goods or services or both can be mentioned in a tax invoice but accounting allocation will be difficult
Sandeep Upadhyay is said exactly correct...
You can maintain single Invoices....
Don't be follow Sales and Service as different.....
There are separate definition for time of supply of goods and services. In case of goods you have to issue invoice once you move out the goods but in time of supply of services you can raise invoice within 30 days of services provided to the service recipient. how can you prepare a single invoice for goods and services. correct me if I am wrong.
@ gopal Their is no such rule to issue invoice separately if it composit, mixed supply or normal supply single invoice is issued so don't get confused
In invoicing rules it is mentioned that taxable of goods or service or both is to be mentioned. It means that single invoice can be raised for the same.
