GST INPUT CREDIT

hi,
my client business is plywood gst rate basically 18% , he purchased silver item included gst 3% for gifting to so many customers, can he take gst input credit?

please clarify me

he takes it in sales promotion expenses, and not gave for single customer only , it gave so more than 100 customers,

Mr. Mahendra Sahoo., What is your exact query...? As per above query and My reply is correct way. If he is dealing his business is purchasing and Selling the silver then it's his business and he can avail the benefit of ITC... He deal "Plywood Business" and buy Silver for gift to Customers then it's not his business... Also it's not a Supply.
