GST for freelancers

hey

I am new on ca club and having a doubt.

I know a little bit about itr and gst.

MY question is do freelancer require gst even if their turnover is below limits?

the blog I read says

If your Aggregate turnover is below limit but you are providing inter state supply then registration is compulsory.

I am resident of delhi.
DO I still need to apply for gst if I get clients from freelancing websites such as upwork, freelancer ,fiverr.

even if i only provide my services to delhi base clients

the payment will be from upwork

as upwork handles the payment

Registration is based on your Turnover if your turnover is below 40 lacs then registration is not applicable

You are a freelancer in delhi providing services you don't require to take GST registration up to a turnover of rs 20lakhs and with in delhi
if you provide services outside delhi then you need otherwise not upto 20lakh
