Is it mandatory to register under GST for every brand name (different types of business-each business one brand name) under single pvt ltd co (No branches).I spoke to so many people.Different answers are given by them.

No need under GST...
GST registration is PAN based, state/UT wise. You can run multiple businesses using single PAN based GSTIN from one or more places of business(es) within the same State/UT. You may also opt for multiple registrations if you have more than one places of business.
