GST for a new organization

Dear frds/ experts,
One of our client is going to start a coir business like small scale industry . He wants to know,

1) At which stage he has to register for GST? Is it mandatory at the initial stage itself?

2) what are the necessary things to obtain for that?

Plz treat urgent & earliest reply would be greatly appreciated.

If he want register voluntary basis then no more limit of T/O from 0 to 20lakhs...

In case he will reach T/O above 20lakhs after start his business then will required GST Registration...

you mean its not mandatory to register upto T O of Rs.20,00,000/-......right?

For Individual

1. Pan Card

2. Aadar Card

3. Email ID & Mobile No

4. Trade Name, Bank Statement, Electricity Bill if ownes premisess, if on Rent than Rent Agreement

5. HSN /SAC Code

6. Nature of Business

But ,.. if you are not registered under GST , you cannot sell your goods interstate,. so if you want to sell your goods interstate you have take registration irrespective of turnover (20lac)
