i am a existing tax payer registered under gujarat sales tax..
i have not migratated yet..
reason-
i have received the provisional ID with correct PAN but when i am checking status on GST portal, legal name displayed is wrong.. I already have corrected name in VAT portal..
Queations-
1. should i migrate?
2. if migrating, during registration should i get validation error?
3. if yes, how to solve validation error?
4. Should i start doing business with this provisional Id?
5. is there any chance of change in provisional id because of this wrong legal name?

if the Constitution of business is as proprietary concern then legal name is name of proprirter

if there is any error in PAN then the portal not allowed to submit the application

validation error arises when you submit any wrong information.
delete all entry
draft your application from starting
and submit
validation error is an clerical mistake which is arise at the time of fill the form

I have entered everything as it is printed, but at first the error showed wrong pan name then after adding aadhar it says name is not matching, however my name and other details are same everywhere

legal name should be same as mention in PAN card

It is the same all over. I am registering myself as a practitioner and it says validation error

remove the AADHAR no. from registration
because aadhar is not mandatory in registration.
there are lot of time validation error when you entered aadhar.

You get wrongly msg from portal if all details is correct...
You can consult your nearest Consultant. Bcoz, find the problem at the time of processing...

Taxpayers registration was submitted but no number received, practioner submission without aadhar got rejected saying aadhar name not matching.
