we have carried out some construction/renovation in our factory and recd gst invoice from contractor so my question is can we avail gst credit or not???

yes, you are eligible for the ITC credit as long as the supply of service of construction/renovation of factory is used or intended to be used in the course or in furtherance of buiness.
