Can we take claim information GST on building materials received for official purpose ?

No it is covered under blocked credit sec17(5)

Not Allowed as it is Blocked u/s 17(5) of the CGST Act 2017 ( Works Contract )...

As per sec 17(5) and clause (d) ITC relating to goods or services recieved for construction of immovable prooerty is ineligible. However, ITC is ineligible only on the capitalised portion.

Dear Fatime, This logic have doubt,
why only capitalization logic not work Machinery, we can to take ITC on Machinery and we can capitalize net of tax.

if ITC restricted on Building then there may have logic or different thoughts of low maker.
