Dear Sirs,
I am GST registered in Tamilnadu and my Marketing team on offficial trips staty at hotels in other States and the hotels charge CGST & SGST.
I think it is wrong, instead they should charge me IGST am I Rightt?

In case of immovable property place of Provision of service is where the property is located..GST will be CGST and SGST.if i have any branch office there u may provide ur gstn of that state to take itc..otherwise he is wrong.

I dont have any branch other than Tamilnadu & does it mean that GST charged on hotel stay other than Tamilnadu will be at my cost?.
