Please clarify --

1) The FREIGHT  charges  should show separately or have to include in the item rate ?

2) In a GST  meeting heared that upto Rs.5000/-  FREIGHT charges no GST TAX applicable and

if more than Rs.5000/- applicable.  Is it  correct ?

and  how to show in form 3b and GSTR-1

if taxable amount               5000

CGST & SGST @ 18%        900

Freight                                 500

Total invoice value             6400

1. The limit of Rs 5000/- is not applicable for GTA.

2. GTA service is covered under Reverse chagre and receipient is liable to pay tax.

As per my Opinion ( Currently doing in office):-

If taxable amount                    5000

Freight                                    500

CGST & SGST @ 18%          900

ON Freight (higher rate 28% given in that invoice)   252

           Total invoice value                 6652

How to show in GSTR-1:- Under Sheet "HSN"

Ans:- Include in HSN code having Higher rate of CGST.

u have charged further 28% on GST Amount not on freight ?

in the GTA only Recipient liable to GST @ 5% if Recipient is registered otherwise transporter have to pay @ 5% and it is not eligible to get ITC but if transporter want to get ITC than the GST rate will be @ 18% according to my knowledge

if i am wrong so please correct me and help me to upgrade my knowledge

and solve my query
