What does it mean by the words "grossing up of dividend"? It was there in question 5 of practice manual chapter " corporate financial reporting".. It was given " calculation of grossing up of dividend"

It means that DDT is included in dividend and we have to exclude the amount of dividend distribution tax (DDT) to find amount of dividend distribited to shareholders.
