Can a company pay gratuity more than rs 1000000. As limit under Gratuity act is 1000000, If a company paid more than 1000000 What r the consequences? Please xplain.

Yes a company can pay more than 10L gratuity, the amount above 10L is taxable in the hands of the employee
Yes Company can pay more den 10 Lacs also......As per Sec 10 (10) ,
standard limit is fixed for employee upto which he is not taxable...........
Above 10 Lacs ......if employee gets d grautity den it will be taxable......
