Eligibility for Gratuity - An employee who has completed 5 years of service is eligible for receivng gratuity [ Supreme court judgement says 4 years + 240 worked days = Eligible to get Gratuiry]
Gratuity is payable on the occurence of the following
Death, Disability, Resignation, Superannuation

Dear Prabhu,
Thanks for your reply, but It's in the case of Payment of Gratuity Act applicable for Pvt/Public sector employee. Is there any policy/guidelines being issued in respect of Govt employees?
