A person who qualifies in the Final Examination of the Institute but does not have requisite experience/has not completed the prescribed training period for being admitted as an Associate Member may apply to the Council in prescribed form for being enrolled as a Graduate of the Institute.
Alongwith with the application, the prescribed fee is payable towards annual subscripttion. This fee falls due on 1st April every year and is payable 30th September for renewal of Graduateship.
On enrolment of a person as a Graduate of the Institute, he shall be entitled to use the descripttive letters “Grad. CWA” to indicate that he has qualified in the Final Examination of the Institute. A Grad. CWA, not being a member of the Institute i.e. AICWA or FICWA, shall not be entitled to use the words “Cost Accountant” against his name. As such, he shall also not be entitled to obtain a Certificate of Practice or use any firm/trade name or constitute/reconstitute any partnership firm of Cost Accountants.
Non-payment of annual subscripttion before 30th September every year will disentitle a person to use the descripttive letters “Grad. CWA”.
