Please elaborate Your query. Can't understand.
Hello Raja sir
For ex. in Jan month a particular item sold 100 units . in the same month he received the goods return 200 units. Returns also prior to previous momth supply. now the qty is -100..He asked how to specify this negative qty in GSTR1 HSN summary.

Thank u sir..
As per my personal opinion, issue credit against same invoice number. in the same month tally automatically reduce the quantity.

its my personal opinion,if anybody have different view then views are welcome. thanks. Disclaimer: its not Professional Advice.
Dear Mr NAGESWARAN., As per my view and Checking the availability. It's showing negative figure. But, I don't know exactly for the Solution... Wait on further reply from Our Experts...
basically HSN summary is for the supply of goods made during the period, it does not relate to goods return
yes , Correct @ Anmol ji, HSN summary is only sale made that month only .👍
But sir my accounting software in gstr 1 report shows the net quantity i.e sale minus return goods in HSN summary report. This
Mr. Mukund., You are exactly correct and Also its same in Offline Tool... We can less the values with same as Supplies and Goods Return... In HSN Summary = Sales - Sales Return...
OK sir
thanks
But with due respect , one cannot depict minus figure in Anywhere in gst return , so u can keep it blank in that case (zero)
