Dear Amit,

If Total Qty returned means (attaching of Original Invoice) is sufficiant, if partial qty returned means they have to raise their invoice with equalant duty paid/payable is OK. Please check how much you supplied , and how much you have received.

Dear sathya

Please explain it Excise point of view

Amit your branch is required to raise excise gate pass mentioning that "goods are sent back to the factory for re-process purpose"  you can't take back it from your depot without any excise gate pass,  take back as per suggested and take cenvat on it and raise again excise sales inv whenever you send it to the depot or any customer.......

I hope you got it. Dear members pls comment if i am wrong!
