With the introduction of CPT, brought remarkable changes in CA course. Students can easily select their career right from their school level. Those who plan well can become a successful professional within the age of 21 to 22 years.
But what is really happen can be compared with elimination round of reality shows. Here students get eliminated with I PCC and Final.
The reason for failure is differ between students to students and hence a common strategy cannot be effective. Frame your own way for executing your goal.
No one in the universe has developed any tips and rescue measure to your success. Rather you are the only person responsible for your success and failure.
1. Know your course ( KYC)
First and foremost reason I think is ignorance about the course. That ignorance will some time leads to confusions and wrong decision and poor result.
The only remedy is known about the course. Before joining the course, know all the pros and cons about the CA course.
If you take the decision after getting a clear picture about the course, you are better in a positions to take right decisions.
2. Goal setting
Next step towards your mission is to set your goal according to your strength and weakness and also take care different kind of challenges which is presented in the course.
Never compare you with your friend’s strategy. If you fix your goal according to own strength and weakness that is enough to achieve your goal. (Securing rank, writing both Group etc)
It is because no one knows you better other than yourselves. If you have the habit of asking this question to others, stop a moment and think that you are committing mistake. Goal setting is your own job.
3. Systematic execution
Whether you are doing self study or attending any coaching classes, ensure the following points.
a) The approaches to the studies shall be strict, systematic and routine. It is not the quantity of hours you are wasting rather the quality of the content you have picked in to your knowledge zone.
b) Buy a scheduler where daily study plan can be noted down. Any difference will be rectified immediately.
c) Fix a time table for daily routine study and also fix a revision schedule at proper and regular intervals.
d) If you come across a mistake, then, make a firm and strong decision for not committing the same mistake again. Maintain a book for recording the committed mistakes.
Quality V/s Quantity of study
Some students give importance on hours of study. Let me tell you, quality of study is prime important than quantity to putt to your brain. It is just like eating Junk food which is really harmful to you.
Learn the concepts, apply the concepts.
Hard work V/S Smart work
There is no short cut as far as CA course is concerned so no doubt, hard work is required. Smart work here implies channelizing your hard work in a proper and systematic way.
Some challenges for CPT students
a) The vernacular language effect
The student who learned in vernacular medium other than Hindi may find very difficult to grass the concepts of complex languages of ICAI module. Those who have studies at English medium school have more advantages than vernacular language students. There is no choice with you other than improving your languages.
b) The subject hardness
There is an abrupt change with respect to the subject to study for I P C C course. The syllabus seems to be voluminous especially for those who have not learned graduation. This is the second challenges you have to face. But, if you study the subject on daily and regular basis, you can easily handle the subject.
c) Practical training ( This is common)
The article ship period is a crucial time period as far as CA students are concerned. The stipend amount may be low and work volume may be high. Apart from this, manage the daily regular studies along with this practical training period. Running between coaching classes and office!
