If you are in practice or working in industry then the best book will of Singhnia book on Direct Tax law and practice.

Yes T.N. Manoharan and Singhania are good for DT. I am not aware of Bangur's DT. But as I know it is best for IDT so i think it should be good for DT too...... But many professionals use Singhania + Ready Reckoner....... and for students i think TN Manoharan is best !!!!!
