GMCS for CA final....Its urgent????

3 months training is Residential training not GMCS...

GMCS is of 15 days....n cost 4000.

You have heard right.  Institute is definitely planning to replace GMCS with residential course.  The only hindrance is that they dont have institutes to accomodate such large no. of students, hence they are developing their own centres.

I dont remember the exact month but our ICAI president has expressed this view in one of his messages in Journal.  Hoever no need to panic just now, it'll take time and as the cost of residential course is too high, i think if institute makes such deicision it's bound to face stiff opposition.

Rs. 48000/- is very big amount, if they do some thing like that, then CA course is same like as MBA course. then its very difficult to do the CA for  common or middle class people.

Yes u r right, but one another point is that at present they are conducting this course at other institutes, when they will have there own "centres of excellence" then the cost may be reduced.  And i think the duration is also going to be reduced from 3 months to 6 weeks, even this would reduce the cost considerably.
