is gmcs necessary for students who started their articleship after april 2012? if so what are the consequences for failing to do so?

yeah it is compulsory to go through two gmcs training for the students regd under articleship after 1st may 2012.
gmcs to be completed during 1st year of aticleship.
visit icai website for the consequences of not doing gmcs.
