12 October 2012i have submitted the dd and form on oct 1st for GMCS in chennai for dec batch via post. Do i get any acknowledgment letter from the institute notifying that i have been admitted to decemeber batch of gmcs ?? i hav not got any letter watsoever till now.

No, You have to ask to Chennai ICAI Office for Your Confirmation of Enrollment.
