I have regd for ariticleship after may 2012.Can i do the gmcs-1 at any time during the first year?
will the leave taken for gmcs considered as a leave during articleship or not, in office?

As per CA Regulations, for the old GMCS scheme, period of GMCS is treated as period actually served for the articleship. In my view, it applies to the new GMCS scheme too. Prior information to the Principal should be given well in advance.
