whether it should be recived on the date of marriage it self or any other day as marriage gift

Nothing mentioned as such about the period upto which gift can be considered on the occasion of marriage. However, one should have record of high value gift received and for safety, better to have gift deed in place for such high value gifts received on marriage occasion.
