An HUF can receive gifts from the members of HUF and also from other persons excluding relatives.
Gifts received from the members of HUF is not taxable but the gifts received from the persons other than relatives is taxable if it exceed Rs. 50,000/- to be shown under the head 'Income from other sources'.
