This error is due to decimal issue in Schedule 112A since i have mentioned amount in 3 decimal.now resolved. |
The new 112A after 23rd Aug 2021 is not allowing any entry into the Full Value of Consideration. Earlier from July, we were able to enter the Full Value of Consideration. Now they stopped. Moreover, other columns in Schedule 112A and stock/unit price and the Cost of Acquisition are allowed to take but the Full Value of Consideration is auto computed by the utility and does not calculate the value to two decimals. If Income tax department verifies the credit entries in the taxpayer bank account for that amount, they may not match because bank entries are with two decimals.
Why should only Full Value of Consideration not take decimal digits? Any clue?
