GET READY FOR THESE MESSAGES FROM DIT

If you have all you have filed return electronically without digital signature, you will receive the follwing email with subject line " NON-RECEIPT OF ITR-V " with follwing reason :-( For all ITR-V submitted at Banglore Office)

1. The ITR-V may be in transit via India Post.
2. The ITR-V may be under process at CPC, Bangalore.
3. You may have furnished your ITR-V in the local Income Tax Office.
4. You may not have furnished your ITR-V to the CPC, Bangalore through India Post.
5. Your ITR-V may be defective.
6. Your ITR-V may have been misplaced in transit.

If you are using one single Email ID for all your clients i.e. all CAs usually having such practice, your inbox will be flooded with such types of messages. This is mainly because out of ten ITR-V submitted (As per our experience) revaled that we have received only two Emailed acknowlement. If you have filed 100 returns , you will get atleast 200 email acknowledgement per months NJOY...

You have check on daily basis as they send email for every 10 days. They will never mention any one specific out of the above referred reason. So if you have received same message again & again , you have to resubmit the duplicate ITR-V.

If that is the case then every CA firm must have adeuate personnel to keep track of every ITR-V submitted at Banglore.

So get ready for such messages. OR Better option is to file return manually where it not mandatory to file return electronically.

You all aware that ITD has joined hand with Indian Post Department & Digital Signature provider.

I have filed e return of my clients return on assessment year 2007-2008 . Right now i get notice from IT department for pay Tax as per Return filed as they were not updated with TDS from IT department. So right now i have to follow same process and have to submit the documents for that year and have to replay that there was TDS and refund is due so pl issue refund.

Govt start this process without proper updation and for that we suffer.

when our govt will error free?

Thanks
