General question

The deecision of government is might not be achieve the purpose of the deisred. Bcs the peole who are purchasing the fuel on petrol pump does not know the what purpose will goverment achieve by hiking price. They just will compare the prices from UPA governement data base.

Every hike has economic and political angle to it. A country can not prosper without people's contribution. Some times the Government of the day has to make a hard choice whether to bite the bullet or not. Thus, there cannot be a definitive answer as to whether the decision to hike prices is right or wrong, it differs from situation to situation.
