Gas subsidy taxable or not?
Whether the gas subsidy will be taxable or not? Please give answer referring the relevant section or case laws.

No.... GAS subsidy is not taxable..
subsidies directly linked to the price excluding subsidies provided by the
Central Government and State Governments. Plz refer section 15 of cgst act

So gas subsidy is not taxable in gst... As this is provided by government
Wrt income tax , its not taxable. Capital receipt.
