Future of CPT?

These are the most expressed opinions from practicing chartered accoutants.

CPT students take things light and behaviour is not upto the mark to peruse a professional course.

CPT students, when sent to audit work, are not accepted by clients.....or they are not matured enough to handle situations...

This may be true to an extent as CPT cleared are 12th pass only.They are not so mature and sensitive to the matter such as auditing.

However,a good student with good academics till 12th,good marks in CPT,good personality(Internal and external),can take on such tasks in guidance of seniors.

I am very much satisfied with your opinion. I am also a practising chartered accountant. I also faced similar difficulty when I sent the CPT cleared article to conduct the internal audit of some branch wherein the manager has asked to send some kind of matured guy who have good knowledge of banking.

A CPT Cleared student does not have knowledge of Tax or Audit. He/She knows only about basic accounting. They have to be trained properly atleast for 6 months and then send them for audit assignments, etc.

In future the cpt will become tought but the knowledge of us i.e . students wil also be grown so it is very easy

Sir, The above expressed views may be true. But when will the upcoming students be given the oppertunity to learn instead of neglecting them. The C A's should do their respective basic of coaching the c p t cleared students segument to do their internal/external audits properly.

i am agree with you. article ship for students is after pcc is a better option , because after the pcc they become mature, and after pcc they understand the lorporate laws and provisions of income tax.
