Dear Experts,

As we all know, from fy 2016-17 , all are getting Intimation u/s 143(1a) if there is a mismatch between Form 16 Numbers & Filed ITR Return. I would you like to know from all you wonderful people that in Refund Cases, if we don't respond on E-Proceedings in Portal with in 30 days, Proceesing System's will take Form 16 Number's & process the Return & Refund will be a Zero. Thats Ok.

After Processing they wont put us on any Penalites or on Scrunity Sections right, if we didnt respond or revised the original return??

Thanks in Advance.

Good Question.........

As per the wordings of the notice received............. if you do not reply within 30 days of ............ the additional tax liability as per calculation derived from form 16 or form 26AS would be calculalted......     no further action specified........

Majority of the cases being genuine, but because of lack of proof/s or negligence may or may not be replied, so department may not think of taking any further action, which as per law it can........

Should not be any issue unless the difference is humongous.

I am glad to get this post and I have clear idea about the E-proceedings. The essay writing services has written an article about refund policies. I am getting trouble in filing the returns.
