Is a calculator with tax function allowed for CA exams?

Well… I think NO…
Because ICAI says that, “Students are allowed to use battery operated portable calculators in all the subjects. The calculators can be of any type with up to 6 functions, 12 digits and up to two memories".
Six functions means, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, square root, and percentage.
So, going by the instructions, calculators with tax functions are not allowed.
