We are charging Freight charges seperately in the invoice. Do we need to charge VAT on the Freight Charges under Karnataka Value Added Tax.
What about service tax do we need to charge on the freight amount ? Do we need to raise seperate invoice or can show under VAT invoice itself ?

Dear Venkat Ram, U dont need to charge vat on freight charges, Transportation charges or Freight can be added finally after Vat. and moreover Vat dosent come on freight charges.
Secondly You cannot charge service tax on freight amount
