Dear advisors

Can we avail the gst on freight inward.

we will pay the gst on freight inward and the same GST can avail as input.

GST is applicable on freight.
you pay gst on taxable amount & freight inward

Yes Input Credit is available ,Freight is charges levied for a service for sensing the goods from one place to other and therefore it is liable to GST. The rate of GST in freight portion shall be higher of the GST rate chargeable on goods supplied under invoice or 18%, whichever is higher.
