Form NO 16 of Previous Employer

Dear All,

 

Some New Employees are joining during this financial year but they are not interested to submit the form no 16 of previous employer to us. If we are not showing the INcome of the Previous employer in form no 16 due to non submission of it then what will be the statutory liablity arise on the company. Please answer urgently.

Dear Pramaod,You can take a simply declaration from duly signed by concerned employee . In this declaration form you asked him to furnish full detail.or you can take it for 12 B

Otherwise  you can deduct TDS on higher rate.

previous employer will issue the same at end of year

right now u can ask requisite data regarding form 12B

as i assume the present year does not make them liable to TDS for your employment as they are getting fraction of year paid with your company, so they are avoiding it.
