As per FDI policy, any transfer of shares from Non-Resient to Resident or vice-versa involves filing of Form FC-TRS with the authorized dealer. Does this Form FC-TRS is also filed in case of transfer of shares in Demat Form?

I think even the shares are in demat mode though u have to file FC TRS

Dear Ashish,
FC-TRS is intimation of transfer of shares and there is no diffrence between the shares maintained in phyisical form or demat form. So the filing of FCTRS is required.
