Form 66 compliance certificate

Company had a paid up capital of around 5 lakh during the financial year 2013-2014 but in the month of may 2014 company increased the paid up share capital to 20 lakhs. is form 66 to be filed by the company for the financial year 2013-2014 before filling 23AC and ACA. please reply any one.

Thanks Ram Kumar, More clarification required. As it say any time during the financial year if its 10 lakhs or more but here it is after the financial year 2013-2014, so is it not required now. Thanks, Manisha

Manisha,

The Company is not required to file Form 66, The Companies were filing compliance certificate as per section 383A of CA, 1956.whose paid up capital is Rs. 10 lacs or more.

The Section 383A and many of sections of CA, 1956 were repealed and Companies Act, 2013 has come into pay from 1.4.2014.

If your company paid up capital is Rs. 10 lacs or more on 31.03.2014 or before, your company should have filed form 66 for financial 2013-14.

Since Section 383A is repealed before 1.4.2014, your company need not to file Form 66.
