FORM 26AS AND FORM 16 VARY

in case of salaried employee if TDS is deducted according to form 16 but in form 26AS salary amount shown is less then form 16,then shall i claim refund?

nope. you have to correct either of them. they have to match because as per form 16, 26as is generated. if u file with mistakes like this it's gonna come under scrutiny.
better to correct either of them :)

first find the right salary & then either form 16 or 26as to be corrected by the employer on traces website.

if a person is in army,how will he come to know about right salary?
we have only 15 days to file Return,to claim refund

Form16 contains all salary received in that financial year. But 26as sometimes only the salary when TDs is deducted. You can calculate income from your form 16 and also include other income mentioned in 26as.

Check out Your Form 16....

Your Gross Salary and all deductions by the employer... After check deductions by Yourself (If you give your Lic, H.Insurance & any other)...

After the balance will be deducted that TDS...
