I have prepared annual tds return in form 24 by excel utility provided by NSDL. It creates a file named as abc.txt.
I validate the file by FVU utility and it creates an Upload file which is in *.txt format.
The TIN facilitation personnel said that this must be in *.fvu format.
How can i create this file in *.fvu format?

Dear Hitendra,
You need not to panic. just follow the steps as given below:-
1. create 24Q.txt file by using 24Q RPU utility.
2. Validate through correct version of File Validation Utility (FVU) available on NSDL website.
3. It will generate four files
(a) FVU -TDS STATEMENT STATISTICS REPORT
(b)PAN statistics REPORT
(c).txt file
(d) .fvu file
I do not concern about quarterly returns that is 26Q or 24Q etc. TDS return are required to be filed quarterly and annually both.
Form 24 is annual TDS return and i want to file annual return.
