in form 16 i saw a donation on this. my friend is a Railway employee...how fill up donation in 80G...on itr 1
can you explain what type of donation deducted there ?
Donation made to any charitable institution registered under section 12aa/80g is allowed as deduction (100 percent of amount donated to specified and 50 percent for others).
You need to fill the name and pan of the trust in itr 1 to claim the deduction.
