Hi,
Form 16 includes all the income earned during the year, whereas 26AS includes only the payments on which TDS has been deducted.
So, there might be a case that income shown in Form 16 may not be reflected in 26AS but not vice versa.
Therefore, all incomes included in the 26AS should be included while filing the Income Tax Return.
So, in this case, income as per 26AS can be considered as correct because it includes more income than the Form 16.
Also, Form 16 should be revised as per 26AS to include the income reflected in the 26AS and not shown in Form 16.
