i have salary of less than rs. 250000 for the year. tds is not deducted on my salary, i want to file my return under ITR-1 for the year F.Y 16-17, can i fill the return or Form 16 is compulsory??

You can file return for FY 2016-17 without Form 16, based on your bank statements and Form 26AS, u/s. 139(4).
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
