Form 16

if you hav a a valid TAN in the name of your proprietship .

you can issue him a form 16 not form 16A.

 so nice of you people, long time i was just breaking my head. Ok now i got the answer and where should i apply TAN number and cost, time frame? If you can able to answer this then am totally free.

you can apply online for TAN number by paying the fees of Rs. 60/-only

first apply to TAN, submit return, then you generate form 16

Dear Jayakanth,

NO need to apply for TIN.

If you are deducting TDS of any of your employee then only go for TAN.

Once you apply for TAN you will have to fill returns.

As per my opinion you can issue Form-16 without TIN no.

IF U HAVE A TAN NO.IN THIS CASE YOU CAN ISSUE FORM 16 OR 16A
