Dear sir, to what extent a chartered accountant is responsible for issuing form 15CA/CB if any information is found inaccurate for import of purchases u/s 195(6) wef 01/06/2015.

for import of purchases only nil 15CB Certificate has to be obtained .if the auditor insists for all supportings I dont think he will go wrong in his certification since tds is nil in such a case

Who has given the FORM 15CB certificate to be careful and need to make some documetation.... as the government intention pre checking of any import payments releasing from India...This certification may be used by govt. for FEMA and other tracking point of view also...if anything wrong and financial impact in certificate...certfied person would be responsible.so dont take easy as nil TDS on imports..while issuing certificate need to have proper doc...
