I want to know what are the penalties for not filing form 112 apart from the condonation for delay fees. Can the ICAI cancel membership or articleship ?
In my opinion, ICAI wont cancel the membership. In the worst scenario, they may suspend the membership and demand an extension of articlesship for some more months, if the articleship was affected due to the student pursuing another course during the office timings. But, in any case, they can't cancel the already undergone articleship.
