Form 108

Hi,

The Extension of your Articles is Strictly a pact between you and ur principal. So it has no bearing on the Form 108 sent by you to the Institute if you have sent it after completion of 3 yrs or 3.5 yrs articleship(which ever is applicable).

Extension beyond 3 yrs is strictly between you and ur principal. So the institute is not involved in this. So now you have to decide whether to go to the office or not. But based on a principle of Ethics, i suggest that u go to office and work out the extension period

but sir, i mentioned 140 days in form and i did not take extra leaves during my articleship of 3.5 years. but my principal insist me to come in office.

Harish , ur principal cannot extend ur articleship as he has already signed form 108 (without any excess leave) . ur principal cannot ask ICAI to extend ur articleship .

In that case, my best suggestion would be to settle the matter Amicably with ur principal. Speak to him, thank him for the opportunity he has provided and say that you will come back after final./ Baad me ka baad me dekhenge.... 

Pankaj, bhai, my principal has asked to institute for the extension of my training. institute replied him to write a mail on me. can he do so....

Harish, ur principal can't do that, if he has already signed the form 108 in which there was no excess leave & ICAI cannot extend ur articleship by mere writting an e-mail by  ur principal , ICAI will demand proof from ur principal for extension & appropriate reason by ur principal for signing the form 108 without any excess leave

Tumhara principal tumko sirf daara raha hai, apna kaam kuch karana chaata hoga. Go to ur office for 2-3 days & then afterwards don't go say Hum Bimar hain sir
