A CLIENT FORGOT I.TAX LOGIN PASSWORD.

THERE ARE MANY WAY TO RESET OF PASSWORD.

RATHER THAN MANY OF ASSESSEE HAS PROBLEM TO RESET OF PASSWORD.

1. CA & ADVOCATE IS NOT TELL HIM WHAT IS PASSWORD

2. SINCE PASSWORD HAS RESET THROUGH REGISTERED EMAIL, PAST CONSULTANT NOT HELP THEM.

3. HE HAS E FILING ACK. NO. BUT BEFORE DURING BANK A/C NOT DECALRED BY ASSESSEE.

SO, MANY OF PROBLEM THIS TYPE WHERE DEPARTMENT NOT RESET OF PASSWORD THROUGH NEW EMAIL.

SO, I THINK DEPARTMENT SHOULD CORRECT THIS PROBLEM. MANY OF ASSESSEE HAS PROBLEM.

Dear Surendra,

If the client forgets his password then u can send a mail on his behalf after taking the authorization letter from him in this regard to Income tax Deptt. They will reset the password and send to u on yr e mail id. The e mail id on which u have to sent the mail is validate @ incometaxindia.gov.in. You have to provide the following details in the e mail.

PAN No.

Name as written on PAN Card

Father's Name as written on PAN Card

DOB as written on PAN Card

& Most Imp. The Address as mentioned in PAN DATA BASE i.e. the address which he gave at the time of filing application for PAN.
