" FORGET PASSWORD " EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TIPS .

E-FILING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NO. OPTION MUCH MORE USEFUL THAN OTHER OPTIONS ( i.e, DSC OPTION, SECRET Q/A ).

Bcoz,
1) From CPC BANGALORE (TOLL FREE NO .18004252229 ) You can get easily E-FILING ACK NO. of a particular assessee ( if filed online otherwise not ) for that particular a.y ( generally a.y 2009-10 onwards ) through PAN followed by DOB of the assessee.

2) You can get easily bank a/c details from your client for that particular a.y and you can cross check the bank a/c details from CPC BANGALORE also.

So, my humble request to all of you , pls follow this option.

Thank you Sir..I had no idea that one can get efiling no also from CPC Banglore no.

One more thing i wuld like to add is that, in case of forget password, one case retrieve it easily also by sending a mail at validate @ incometaxindia.gov.in. Interestingly it need not to be sent from registered email ID. Simply send a mail at this ID stating PAN, Name, Date of Birth/Incorporation, Fathers Name(if applicable) & Registered PAN Address.

First of all thanks a lot to Yogesh Goel,

now i want ot say that as far as your sugeestion is concerned, the problem is that each and every time CPC BANGALORE sends duplicate password to the registered mail ids only, so if a client try to move his IT FILE from one consultant to an another consultant , then in that case this kind of problem can arise , ok thanks a lot..

We have mailed from mail ids other then regiatered mails in all cases.. And have recieved paswords on them..in case of file transfers also it has proven a usefull measure. Thx..
